From September 19th to 21st, I’m staying at a campsite along the Moselle—located just under 4 km outside Koblenz, right by the river and perfectly positioned for continuing my bike ride. Koblenz boasts a stunning location, embraced by both the Rhine and Moselle rivers.

Before I c ycled tgo  my camp I stoped at a hotelbar with seats outside with a view over the square and in addition they had an electrical socket which I of course used.

Ordered a beer and a tomato soup which tasted amazingly yellowe square and in addition they had an electrical outlet which I of course used

Very tasty tgomato soap

The campsite spacious, though it falls just short of the one I visited near Potsdam. It offers all the essentials, including cooking and washing facilities, toilets, and showers, along with the added charm of an on-site bistro.

My tentplace no up there behinde motorhomes

I’m assigned to pitch 32, situated at the top of the area among the motorhomes, with convenient access to a charging point. Nearby, three or four tents are already set up. A neighbor named Timo, from Tampere, introduces himself, and we chat for a while—it’s always enjoyable meeting like-minded people.

I get my tent pitched quickly, then head off to shower and change. Around 7 PM, I’m in the kitchen getting dinner ready.

Tomorrow, I plan to cycle into Koblenz for a city tour. The following day, I’ll continue along the Moselle River toward Senheim or Nehren, where I’ve noticed there are campsites nearby. I’m excited to ride along the Moselle River and through the Moselle Valley, especially after hearing so much about its stunning beauty.
